About us

WattWise Home publishes independent guides that help UK households understand their energy use and reduce their bills. We explain tariffs, heating, insulation and renewable technology in plain English.

Our guides are researched from official sources such as Ofgem, GOV.UK and the Energy Saving Trust, and we update them when rules or prices change. We are not an energy supplier, installer or comparison service, and we do not give regulated financial advice.

How we make money

The site is funded by advertising, including Google AdSense. Ads are always labelled as advertisements and have no influence on what we write.
